We have been farming our vineyard and developing our land for the last 10 years and know what it takes to produce good fruit for wine. Let us share with you!
Between our uniquely crafted wine selection and our beautiful vineyard grounds, you’re sure to enjoy a break from city life.
We agree with A.D. Posey – everyday that we farm, we must “take a deep breath. Inhale peace. Exhale happiness.”
We bought the 75 acres of land that Rubidoux Ridge Vineyard is situated on after my father passed away. The name Rubidoux came from the founder of St. Joseph, Missouri, where my father met my mother during WWII. The Rubidoux Hotel in St. Joe had a treasure chest for children that ate all their chicken pot pie.
Forever this place stuck with me.

Our land is what defines us from the valley floor wineries. Our 2100-foot elevation produces some of the best ripened flavored grapes. If you are wanting to get away from the big city congestion and commune with nature, relax, and sip our wine, our location will meet those needs.
We farm and harvest our grapes with the upmost care, carefully crafting them into our delicious wines. With tremendous pride, we love to share what the fruits of our labors have produced with you.
Our elevated vineyard produces some of the best flavored ripened grapes, standing out from those produced on the valley floor.
We harvest our grapes at their peak ripeness so that their flavor notes are most poignant in the wine they produce.
We crush and press our grapes using industry leading equipment, allowing for proper separation of juice and skin.
The magic process that turns juice to wine! Using yeast, the grape juice ferments and in a few steps, you have wine.
We transfer our wine from barrel to barrel to remove the sediments that settled during fermentation.
This step varies depending on the wine, but it's the final step before you get to pour it into your glass and enjoy!
